I bought my first pair of Tod’s in 1995 in NYC. They are my favourite shoes ever; soft tan and cream coloured mules. Finally when the soles starting falling off I decided to give them one last chance. I took them to Michael Zalamea and he transformed them into my “Cinderella Slippers”. They are like brand new and I am able to start this summer off in exquisite style in my rejuvenated Tod’s. Thank you Michael, you rock!

I recently visited this cobbler after experiencing some issues with a pair of shoes I purchased. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff. The cobbler, in particular, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Not only did they listen attentively to my concerns, but they also took the time to thoroughly examine the shoes and explain what might be causing the problems. What impressed me the most was their honesty and transparency. Instead of trying to upsell me unnecessary services or products, they provided me with practical advice on how to address the issues myself.

Amazing! My shearling boots were covered in wet mud, could not brush it off once it dried, a shoemaker told me nothing could be done, I thought my boots were ruined. Amazing results by Love your shoes Centre! Like brand new! I highly recommend Love your shoes!

I have two pairs of sneakers that hadn’t been washed in months. Just when they started to smell so putrid and I didn’t really know what to do, Love your Centre came into rescue and turned them back to new! Apart from how much grateful I am, I love how when I came to the store, apologized for the shoes’ smell, I got a reassurance that they had come across worse case. If anything, I greatly appreciate this sympathy I have been given. Would love to drop by and continue with the service whenever I have something I need to clean again!
I have had several rugs maintained here and a couple of pairs of boots repaired, service has always been great, on time and as per my expectations. Great place to deal with.
The soles crumbled on my ecco boots and I was keen to repair them since the upper was still in great shape, but I quickly learned most shoe repair places considered them un-repairable. Love Your Shoes was able to pull it off when no one else would! They were honest with me about it being a difficult job and that they would look a bit different (which I was fine with) but they found a way to make it work, for less than a new pair would have cost. I’m very happy I found them.

I brought my broken soccer shoes after attempting to glue them myself, and Mike did an amazing fixing them! It was such a pleasure talking to him and listening to him explain what he used to put them back together. The service was extremely quick because I mentioned that although it wasn’t necessary for them to be fixed right away, I was hoping to use them soon!
This is my second time having my Ugg’s cleaned here and as usual did a great Job! The shoes were completed in a timely manner… I especially appreciated that they pick up and deliver.
Many have said that there was no hope for a worn out pair Blundstone boots – but I could not let them go. The oldest of my 6pairs I bought some 20 years ago, and they have see me through all weather, terrain, and probably around the world. I very rarely write a review but I felt this was well deserving of a 5 stars. I brought in my very worn brown dress boots for a mirror shine and a heel replacement. They came back within 2 days and genuinely looked better than when I bought them. Fair pricing, fast service and great craftsmanship. I can not recommend this place enough!

The team at Love Your Shoes did an amazing job with a resole of my Gucci Loafers. I went in not knowing if a resole was necessary, but the team thoroughly explained to me their thoughts and what should be done to extend the life of the loafers. We ended up deciding on a full resole, which came out perfectly. The team also asked if they could add something special to the sole, which I agreed to. As you can see by the photos, it looks awesome and I truly love how the repair and touchups went! When a big milestone celebration was coming up at the end of 2022 my best dress shoes (Prada shoes I have had for +6 years) were unwearable. The the sole of the shoe was peeling away from the leather over years of wear and tear. Two weeks out from my event I did some research and found Love Your Shoes had some great reviews. I called the wonderful team and was connected with one of the cobblers named Michael who was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to diagnose what needed to be done to repair my shoes through looking at the pictures I emailed. The Love Your Shoes team committed to having my shoes ready before my event on less than than 14 days notice. To my surprise, not only were the shoed completely repaired but they looked brand new! Take a look at the three ‘Before’ pictures and the two ‘After’ pictures. I would recommend Love Your Shoes for any of your shoe restoration needs and will be a return customer in the future.
When I brought in my leather imitation croc designed shoes that i recently purchased. I love my boots however, they had tight elastics by the ankle, which made it hard to get your foot into the boot. The team here was absolutely fantastic as they were able to open up the elastics and make it easier to slide in to the boot. Incredibly reasonably priced and super service. Will definitely be going back here and recommend to others overall fantastic experience with everyone here.

This place did an amazing job fixing my shoes and belt! I has a pair of YSL sandals i accidentally scraped the leather heel on and they fixed them perfectly, i also brought my LV belt that needed adjusting to them and they gave me an even better solution (shortening it instead of adding more roles) than i initially had in mind. The quality of the work was really well done, i would highly recommend. Also very friendly staff 🙂
Thank you for repairing my MK booties. I did not think that they would be repairable. One of my heels had a huge scruff and the leather was torn on them. I was so pleased when I got them back. An excellent job was done!!!! They actually look brand new!

Quality is king. But every so often you come across a company that provides you with top notch quality, with equal parts customer service. From upper management to the workers putting their heart into every job, this has got to be one of the better establishments I’ve come across. I came for the first time to fix my leather jacket, but I left as a lifetime customer. You will too.

Got recommendations on what wasn’t really worth repairing at the place of business. Early morning delivery was appreciated. I also had old shoes repaired for a dinner. The bottom of both came off, one to and from the restaurant but they were from my high school days so quite old.
I dropped off 3 pairs of leather boots that I loved dearly for repair. I had them sitting around for the longest time in my closet wondering if they ever could be helped. I took a chance and brought them to this establishment and was pleasantly greeted with a freindly smile with an assurance that my boots could be fixed and were in good hands. A couple of weeks later, I returned to pick them up and was ecstatic when I saw the repairs. It was a job well done and great customer came with it. They will be seeing me again as I have a couple of heels that need work as well.

I LOVE this place, which is why I’m a repeat customer. Today I arrived with my favourite pair of summer, white, dressy shoes. I was afraid that the grease marks wouldn’t come out. The gentleman who greeted me took my shoes to the workshop in the back to try steaming the marks off while I waited. Amazing! The shoes look like new. I didn’t have to leave them at the shop——and there was no charge!🤗😊

Fabulous service. They fixed a Rossi Boot that 3 other shoe repair shops in Toronto could not repair. In fact all 3 other shops told us to throw out the boots. Highly recommend .4 months later and the boots are just like new.

Had a pair of rare camper boots that I was going to lose because the rubber soles disintegrated. Love your shoes cobbler took the time to find a reasonable match then meticulously cleaned any exposed glue – akin to what a really good invisible mender would do with a tear in a silk shirt. So rare! And so thoughtful!

First time getting a shoe repair done. A few Google searches later & here we are. Love these boots & after using water repellent spray on them. I got yellow pumpkin boots. A few days of waiting & I got back these beauties. They look better than when I purchased them. The minor scuff marks are also gone. Amazing. Highly recommend.

Edit: I had en excellent experience resolving my issue. The owner (Tony) personally adressed the situation and went above and beyond to fix it at no charge. Great customer service and commitment to customer satisfaction. Thank you. I needed new insoles replaced because old ones were worn out. They just glued back the old one so when I wear them I can still feel the discomfort. If I knew that was the case I would not pay $50. I would just glue it myself. I wonder how long the glue will last. Sorry not very happy with the service I received.
This is the first time I am using Love your shoes for my UGG cleaning. And in all honesty, I can say that it was the best job done on my UGGs. No stains no rips just perfect. I will use the company for all my cleaning needs in the near future.
I took my boots in because the shaft was too narrow to fit my calf. I spent almost as much on this fix as I did the boots and they are still not fitting. The look of the fix is extremely professional and you can’t tell that it’s not original to the boot. However, the fact they still don’t fit after spending that much is disappointing. Dealing with one particular member of their staff has left me in a place where despite this, I don’t wish to go back. This was not as great a service experience as the last time.
The service was exceptional but I paid for a mirror shine and that’s not what I received. I posted pictures of my boots next to the same pair but with an actual mirror shine.
Came in to get some boots cleaned but result was disappointing and the stuart weitzmans I brought in were ruined to be honest.

I had really high hopes after reading your reviews but I am honestly really disappointed after the service I got and after complaining about it the customer service offered me a 10% discount on my next order ? Why would I use your services again if I was not happy the first time ? So what good does a 10% discount do? I don’t need this. All I wanted was my shoes to be fixed.
One star cause I can put zero. They totally ruined my new boots, I needed a stretch because they were a bit too tight on my calf, they said that the machine could work and made me wait two weeks, when I went to try them on there was no difference at all, then they said that they would put a piece of elastic band so it could fit better, made me wait two weeks as well, and after a month of no having my boots I went to try them on and there was no difference at all, in fact now my boots have a very weird fit, the feet are very loose and calf is very tight, so disappointing, now I have a boots with a ugly elastic band that I can’t even wear. They never took my measurements at all and the elastic band was supposed to be lower than what they did.
This place damaged my daughter’s jordans, and returned them back worse than they went in. I paid over $300.00, drove across the city, to pick up foolishness. The owner shaked my hand, promised me how the jordans would look, showed me… yes.. showed me how they would turn out… and assured my daughter that they would look good. These shoes were stained with yellowing on both shoes… the colour was gone and cracks alll over . I am digusted, and my young daughter was heart broken,and now she can’t wear the shoes at all. The reviews warned me.. I took the mixed reviews as a mix of reviews .. but believe the negative reviews and there rest be fake ones… because the reviews literally matched my experience. Another shoe man was honest by saying the shoes shouldn’t be repaired anywhere, as any cleaning or fixing will damage them… he said to not trust the love your shoe place. We ignored him… stupid move, and I am going to bring them to him and tell him how correct he was… do not give your money to these people… I give honest reviews.. and this place can’t handle high end sneakers or or sneaker s period. Pitiful… God don’t like ugly, so I leave this business to karma and they will lose much more than the 350.00 I paid… so it’s alll good…. I am a working professional, and would never write this review, if it weren’t true. Businesses like this can’t last, and they will eventually fall, and I will be here to see it… what a disgrace.. especially if it started with honesty, before it turned to this level of desperation, that they must rob the working class person for their own gain.. Nastiness… Update: we were able to remove the yellowing caused by these people and it WORKED… yet we were able to salvage the shoe. They completely damaged the expensive shoes. I joined three sneaker groups to learn how to restore them. Also the groups thanked me since there were 30 plus people that read the reviews and initially planned to go to this place. All are not going anymore and we have been spreading the word relentlessly and sharing the photos. They may have robbed our 350.00, but they stand to lose so much more than that. No one likes when adults mistreat children, and they did this to a 13 year old; looked my daughter straight in her face, and said they did their best. Heck, they already have lost alot … again.. don’t bring your sneakers here… and if they did this to sneakers and lied about their skills… I can’t imagine rugs, and purses…
The service took quite long, and whenever I checked the estimated completion date it just kept moving forward and forward. They had my shoes for a month and had not said anything unless I asked them about it. It was my first time using a service like this so I thought maybe I was getting scammed since they didn’t give much communication at all unless I asked first. I gave them my shoes while it was still summer and now it is becoming cold out so I needed my Air Force shoes back especially. So I texted them asking why the date kept moving forward and if I was being scammed? I regret wording it like that because it is kind of a hurtful way to ask. They said “no, you’re not being scammed, I will ‘bother’ the cobbler for you”. So I think they were offended. Suddenly the shoes were ready, but when I got them, my heeled sandals looked like they were not even cleaned at all, and my air forces were clean on top but the mid soles were BRIGHT yellow still, despite me asking specifically to de-yellow them. So I think they got offended with my question about whether or not I was being scammed, and they decided to stop cleaning the shoes and just return them to me. I am now currently bleaching the mid soles of my own shoes at home, despite paying them full price at $150 to do for me.
While the shoe repair was fine the prices charged was not reasonable. I paid over $50 for rubber tabs to be put at the bottom of a ladies shoe. I should have completed the repair myself and will not return to this vendor as it’s not worth the fee paid. There are equivalent and more ch less expensive options out there.

After picking up my shoes from repair, there was some miscommunication with pick up time. I requested to speak to a manger and apparently she was busy. I drove all The way from Durham to pick up my shoes and told they not there at the Scarborough location. I paid for my goods and decided to head over to Etobicoke to pick up my other pair which is still there. On my way there Cathy the general manager has called me instead of rectifying the issues she was pointing fingers and blaming me. I would advise the Owner (Tony) to go listen to the call! She called me arrogant because I am a blogger.. which is irrelevant and what Cathy should have done is to listen and rectify the issue. She does not know what it is to have a happy customer or to go above and beyond. I was inconvenienced and nothing could be done about it. Cathy’s constant garbing with me on the phone call at 11:41am 12/02/22 and she was rude, defensive and angry. She then hung up The phone on me! If she is treating customers like this, I could only wonder how she is treating her staff! But I do give a 5 star rating to Mike in Etobicoke, he was amazing to speak with and great customer service. He always made sure to call me back and update me. He did an excellent job on my shoes. I highly recommended if anyone wants to get their shoes repairs, go directly to the Etobicoke and speak to Michael. Also Thank you Tony for touching up my shoes and doing an amazing job. I would still like to speak to the owner as this has left a sour taste.
